SeniorSafe is a program dedicated to helping older adults stay safe from online, phone, and financial scams. Through simple education, real-world examples, and practical steps, we teach seniors how to recognize warning signs, avoid risky situations, and know exactly what to do if something feels wrong. The goal is to build confidence, reduce fear or embarrassment, and empower seniors to protect themselves in an increasingly digital world.

Shravan Jaganathan

President

I am a high school sophomore and the U.S. program lead for D4V USA, inspired by my mother’s work running D4V Global and her commitment to community education and protection. Through my own experiences with technology, finance, and volunteering, I saw how often scams succeed not because people lack intelligence, but because they are placed under pressure, fear, or isolation. I wanted to help build programs that focus on prevention, confidence, and dignity—giving seniors and young people the tools to pause, verify, and ask for help before harm occurs.

I am a sophomore in high school and serve as the Vice President of D4V USA. Through school and early workforce experiences, I have received education on digital safety and online risks, which helped me recognize how essential this knowledge has become. However, I also noticed that while students and working adults are increasingly prepared, many seniors are left without the same guidance. I am involved in D4V USA to help close this gap by making digital safety education accessible, respectful, and practical for older adults, ensuring they are not left vulnerable as technology continues to evolve.

Our programs are designed to be data-driven so we can measure impact and continuously improve. We collect feedback from participants, track progress on key financial skills, and analyze outcomes to understand what works best. By using data, we ensure our workshops and lessons are effective, targeted, and meaningful, allowing us to make informed decisions that maximize the benefits for seniors and young learners alike.
